Cancun, Mexico
Imperial las Perlas
2.5 stars
Overview
Set at the entrance to Cancun's Hotel Zone, Imperial las Perlas offers direct beach access without the high-rise crowds of downtown — a short taxi ride gets you into the heart of the action when you want it. The overwater, open-air Las Gaviotas restaurant is the standout, serving three meals a day with ocean views on all sides, and the hotel runs its own boat for guest excursions. Rooms are simple but comfortable, spread across an intimate, low-rise layout with lagoon or ocean views. This is a budget-friendly pick for travelers who want beachfront Cancun without the resort-chain price tag — best for couples and budget-conscious groups rather than those chasing five-star polish.
